I started Flint Fam Creates in 2023. That was the year I bought my first macrame kit and set up my little shop on Etsy. As a stay-at-home Mom, I thought I was doing big things at the time. What I didn't realize was that making macrame pieces was about to unlock a whole other creative side of my brain—and a whole new creative adventure.

Now in 2025, I have turned Flint Fam Creates into a creative brand focused on creativity, kindness, and inspiration. And I did it because of you. In a world of uncertainty and hardship, there are two things that you can be certain of: one, that your creativity can never be taken away from you, and two, that you'll always be welcome here in the Flint Fam.

When I'm not creating and writing, you can find me and my family just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Whether we're trying new coffee shops or playing on our local playgrounds, chances are we're making new memories together.
