Can I place a custom order?
Yes! You can most definitely place a custom order with us here at FlintFamCreates. Just fill out our "FlintFamCreates Custom Order Form" to get started. After you submit it, Meghan will contact you to confirm the order.
Are all of your items handmade?
Our macrame, jewelry and slime are all handmade.
At this time we do not have the printing equipment necessary to print on apparel, mugs, and other accessories, and so we use a Print-On-Demand service. However, any printed designs are designed by Meghan herself. Meghan loves designing the images, photos and other graphic pieces that you see on the items in this store.
Is it true that you have an influencer/content creator collab program? How can I join?
Yes! We do have an influencer/content creator collab program. FlintFamCreates is still a small, growing business. We need to get as many eyes on our products as possible in order to grow our brand. To do this we have partnered with influencers and content creators to get our name out there! Once you sign up and are approved, we send you products and you share them with your audience for us!

My slime feels a little off. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Slime, like any other chemical mixture, can change texture and consistency over time. But the good news is, yes, you can do things to get your slime back to normal!
In each slime pack we send one activator pen. This is for you to use if you receive your slime and it's slightly sticky. When we ship slime during warmer months, the time spent in shipment can cause the slime to "melt" a bit. That's why it's sticky. Just spray it with the activator spray until it reaches the consistency that you like. And if you don't have anymore activator, you can buy some from our shop. You can also use multi-purpose contact solution or Borax mixed with water (ask a grown up please!).
If your slime arrives and it's too hard or it rips, try letting it sit in warm water for a few minutes. This can happen when the slime gets too cold, or when it's not been sealed properly. You can also try adding lotion or more glue to soften it up.
Do you sell any of your products in stores?
Yes, we do sell some of our products in stores! As of October 2024, you can purchase some of our items in store at Dandelion Children's Consignment in Monroe, NC.
Do you really let your kids make and sell some of the items?
Our daughters, who are 7 and 9 as of 2024, do in fact make some of the items that you see in our store. They are super creative, and passionate about what they do! And quiet honestly, they're the inspiration behind FlintFamCreates.
With that said, I (Meghan) do go behind them to check quality. If it doesn't meet our store standards then it doesn't go into the store. I also coach them in certain areas. But they (and I) take great pride in what they make! And they practice often, so they're getting pretty good at what they do.
Do you ever take suggestions or requests from your customers?
Absolutely! Obviously we do market research and keyword research, but when you give us product suggestions we listen to them, too!
