FlintFamCreates New Online Store Launching June 2024

It is June 2024, and FlintFamCreates now has a new online home...and store. 

FlintFamCreates, an online presence, started in 2023 as strictly a macrame storefront on Etsy. In January of 2024 FlintFamCreates moved into Dandelion Children's Consignment Store in Monroe, North Carolina. This marked the first time that their products were physically in a brick and mortar store.

So why build a new online website and store, you may ask? With inconsistent sales, rocky news stories and unpopular opinions centered around Etsy in 2023 and 2024, Meg Flint, owner of FlintFamCreates, decided it was time to take her products to a more secure and profitable sales space.

But that isn't the only reason that FlintFamCreates decided to make a move to their own website. In May of 2024, FlintFamCreates welcomed Koala Crafters Kids Co. to their growing creative family. Koala Crafters Kids Co. is a kid-centered product line made by kids. Those kids just happen to be the kids of Meg Flint. Her two daughters, 9 and 7, decided they wanted to start their own business. And so now their slime products and handmade jewelry are featured in the FlintFamCreates online shop.

So what can you expect from FlintFamCreates going forward? New product, blog posts centered around crafting and creativity, and a wholesome family business. Welcome to the online shopping world, FlintFamCreates!
