Our Mission
At Flint Fam Creates, we inspire joy, creativity, and connection through handmade goods, bold storytelling, and colorful experiences.
Rooted in kindness and empathy, I, Meghan Flint, believe in the power of everyday creativity—whether through art, words, or playful moments—to heal, uplift, and bring people together. We’re here for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, unseen, or unsure if they “count” as creative. Spoiler: you do.
OUR STORY
Hey there! I’m Meghan Flint—the creative entrepreneur, writer and dreamer behind Flint Fam Creates.
I wear other hats, too. In addition to being a creative business owner, I'm also a wife and stay-at-home Mom. I've been at home with my girls for over 8 years now—and that's part of the reason why I started Flint Fam Creates.
During the Pandemic, like many stay-at-home moms, I found myself searching for something more—a way to contribute financially while also keeping my main focus on raising our daughters. I started a blog while we still lived in Maryland. "Eastern Shore Eating" was its name, and it was all about the food culture on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. But then we moved to North Carolina, and I had to start all over again.
After we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina I felt kind of lost. I dabbled in blogging, designing, and crafting, but it wasn’t until early 2025 when I realigned my work with my "why" that everything began to click.
Realigning wasn't obvious or easy. In March of 2025, I found myself loathing social media. And if I'm being honest, it still isn't my favorite place on Earth. Every time I turned on the television, the news would fill me with unpleasant feelings that I hadn't really felt before. I started looking around and saw a world where kindness felt rare, people were afraid to be themselves, and creativity was often dismissed unless it fit a certain profile and motive.
So I chose to rise to the challenge—not just to create a business, but to create a movement of kindness, creativity, and connection.
What started as a personal creative outlet has evolved into Flint Fam Creates—a joyful, purpose-driven brand built around three core pillars:
- Creative Expression- Celebrating the joy of making and the power of imagination.
- Kindness in Action- Spreading good through intentional acts and joyful surprises.
- Inspired Living- Uplifting everyday life with meaning, encouragement, and heart.
These three pillars have always been at the core of my creative journey. And it's through these three core pillars that we can create joyful connections with one another—whether through the things that we make, the gifts that we give or the random feelings of joy that we share with those around us.
Flint Fam Creates (and me, Meghan) is here to be a place of creativity, connection and inspiration. It is my goal that we create a community of loving and acceptance for all. Whether it’s a glitter calm-down jar, a surprise kindness kit, or a blog post that feels like a warm hug, everything we offer is designed to uplift, encourage, and remind you that you belong here.
